Can an IT professional migrate to Australia?

· Wait for a state/territory nomination

Changes in Australia Occupation Demand List Predicted in Mid-2018

The immigration department has published tentative changes to be made in the occupation demand list to be effective in mid-2018.
The same ‘Traffic Light’ approach continues to flag off some occupations from the skilled occupational lists, and others to move between the Short Term Skilled Occupations List (STSOL), Medium to Long Term Strategic Skilled List (MLTSSL) and the Regional Occupations List (ROL).
Below mentioned is the list of occupations that are being considered for removal or shift between the occupational lists.
Occupations predicted to be removed from STSOL:
The following occupations will be most likely to be removed entirely from STSOL:

How Will Skilled Visas Be In The Future? What is the Time Taken to Receive an Invitation!

Skilled visas are those visas which provides a gateway to the skilled workers who are highly qualified to live and work in Australia provided your skills are in demand in the Australian country.
There are different categories of skilled visas through which a skilled worker can apply:

Australia skilled regional (provisional) subclass 489 visa is a 4 year provisional visa which requires the holders of this visa to live and work in a regional area to obtain permanent residence. It is a state sponsored visa.

To apply for this visa, the candidate nominated occupation should be listed on the relevant occupation list.
