Skilled visas are those visas which provides a gateway to
the skilled workers who are highly qualified to live and work in Australia
provided your skills are in demand in the Australian country.
There are different categories of skilled visas through
which a skilled worker can apply:
· Skilled Independent visa subclass 189 allows the candidates
who are highly skilled and qualified but do not have any nomination or
sponsorship from the Australian employer to live and work in Australia on a
permanent basis.

should be listed on STSOL List 2018.
Australia state sponsor visa subclass 190 is a state
nominated permanent visa which allows the candidates who are highly skilled and
qualified to live and work in Australia on a permanent basis provided they are
nominated by the state/territory.
To apply for this visa, the candidate nominated occupation
should be listed on consolidated occupation list.
Australia skilled regional (provisional) subclass 489 visa
is a 4 year provisional visa which requires the holders of this visa to live
and work in a regional area to obtain permanent residence. It is a state
sponsored visa.
To apply for this visa, the candidate nominated occupation
should be listed on the relevant occupation list.
After deciding the relevant visa category, and getting a
positive skill assessment the next step is to apply for Expression of Interest
through skillselect.
The wait of getting an invitation to apply is the toughest
time in whole application process. It’s like a whole puzzle is solved but not
sure where to fit the last piece. Similarly, getting an invitation to apply is
