Overview of SINP International Skilled Workers - Aptech Visa

Applying to the SINP

There is a route to immigration to Canada called the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

The Province of Saskatchewan, through the SINP:
  • Invites non-Canadians who wish to call Saskatchewan home to submit residency applications;
  • Presents qualified candidates to the Canadian government for permanent residence.
The SINP is just one of several requirements to become a permanent resident of Saskatchewan. All accepted candidates are required to submit a residency application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Canadian Immigration Commission.

Time Required to Process International Skilled Workers

Each quarter, the processing time is adjusted (every three months). It displays how long it typically takes to complete an application during that quarter. For each category, the duration is expressed in weeks. Processing timeframes are not necessarily a reliable indicator for upcoming applications because they can fluctuate.

You can see here how long it typically takes to process 80% of applications. The period is calculated from the time an application is initially received until it is processed. Outliers are excluded from averages and represent the top and bottom 10% of applications, respectively.

All applications for Saskatchewan Experience and International Skilled Workers are expected to be processed within 16 weeks. We require the relevant data and supplementary materials in order to process an application.
