How do I submit an application for provincial nominee immigration to Canada?

A Canadian province or territory must nominate you if you want to immigrate to Canada through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

Prior to settling in a province or territory, you must file an application with the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). You must meet the requirements in terms of education, work experience, and abilities in order to be eligible to immigrate to Canada and support your family.

Your ability to meet both the economic and labour market needs of the province or territory and of Canada will be evaluated by them. You can ask them how long it will take for your application to be processed.

You must apply for Canada permanent residency within the timeframe specified by the province or territory after it has granted your application. You will be informed by the province or territory as to whether you must use the Express Entry system or the standard application process:

Nomination through a PNP Express Entry stream:

If you aren't already in the Express Entry pool, you'll need to fill out a profile and get approved to join.

OR

PNP nominations that do not fall under Express Entry:

Those seeking permanent residence who were nominated under a PNP stream other than Express Entry should submit their application as usual.

Each province may have a separate selection procedure and requirements for receiving a Provincial Nominee Certificate.

What is the Provincial Nominee Program's eligibility requirement?

Eligibility

The minimal qualifications for one of the provinces or territories' non-Express Entry streams must be met in order to apply as a provincial candidate.

What are the requirements of provincial nominee programs?

The Provincial Nominee Programs were developed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC, formerly CIC) to give Canada's numerous provinces and territories the opportunity to select residents who have expressed an interest in relocating there and who will be able to support its economic growth.

The Provincial Nominee Program is utilized by most but not all of Canada's provinces and territories.

How many provinces take part in the Provincial Nominee Program?

The Provincial Nominee Program is available in the following provinces:

How do I decide which Canadian province to immigrate to?

The ideal method for choosing a province for immigration would be to look at which province has an active immigration program, a high demand for your professional abilities, and an immigration program connected to express entry.

What is the Canadian Provincial Nominee Program, and how do I apply?

  • Choose the Canadian PNP that's best for you. Verify each PNP's requirements and eligibility.
  • Send a request to the selected province.
  • Following application submission, the province will suggest you apply for Canada PR. Obtain the provincial certificate of nomination.
  • Lastly, submit your Canada PR application. You can apply online if the province accepts Express Entry; if not, you must do so on paper.

What is the process for submitting an Express Entry Program application?

For provinces that are a part of Express Entry, you can apply online.

  • Create a profile, then send in your Express Entry application. You must state that a province has nominated you here.
  • Your profile will be added to the Express Entry pool once your nomination has been approved, and you’re current CRS score will go up by 600 points.
  • An invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence will then be sent to you.

How long does it take to get Canadian PNP-based Canada PR?

The typical processing time for a Canada PR application through Express Entry is six months. On average, it can take up to 18 months to process a paper application.

How to apply for SINP?

Express Entry and the Occupations In-Demand subcategories in Saskatchewan both employ Expressions of Interest (EOI).

Immigrate to Canada Via PNP Program

Prior to applying, you must register your expression of interest (EOI) on the SINP Apply Online platform. Your eligibility will be determined using your responses on the application.

You must receive 60 out of a possible 110 points on the EOI Points Grid or more to be eligible to participate in the EOI pool. You are evaluated using the EOI Points Grid based on five criteria: your age, ties to the Saskatchewan labour market, your education and training, your experience in the skilled job, your language proficiency, and your flexibility.

You'll be given the go-ahead to submit an application at an EOI draw if you're chosen.

You may now use the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program's online application to request a provincial nomination (SINP). Through the same portal, you can accomplish this.

You can apply directly without registering an EOI if you are applying under the Employment Offer sub-category and you have a job offer.

You can then apply directly to the IRCC for permanent residence once your application has been accepted. Saskatchewan will input the specifics of your nomination into the system if you are applying under the Express Entry sub-category. Your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score will increase by 600 points as a result, effectively ensuring that you will be invited to apply for permanent residence in the upcoming Express Entry draw.

Top PNPs for Canadian PR in 2023 - Aptech Visa

The easiest approach to obtain PR in Canada may depend on your profile could be through a province's nominee program. Which provinces are thus the best for candidates wanting to immigrate to Canada?

How is one supposed to know the best-suited PNP for Canada Immigration?

We understand that it can be challenging to select which immigration program might be ideal for you from among the more than 80 PNPs available. It can be challenging to know where to begin because the province in Canada where getting PR is simplest will often rely on your own particular profile.

1. We examined the finest choices available to Indians who have no prior employment or education experience in Canada. If you have schooling or job experience in Canada, you may be eligible for another PNP stream or another immigration route.

2. No PNPs for entrepreneurs and businesspeople were included. There are PNP streams available for people wishing to start a business in Canada, but these call for you to have prior business management expertise and $100,000 CAD or more to invest.

Here are some of the best Canada PNP options for aspiring immigrants:

Ontario:

There are many options for immigration hopefuls through the Ontario PNP which is considered one of the easier provinces to obtain permanent residency in Canada. This largest province in Canada is renowned for its simple laws, rapid immigration procedure, and high ITA rate. A number of regular job openings are made available by OINP in traditional and contemporary businesses, especially in the information and communication technology sector. The province also extends invitations to professionals in fields including nursing, finance, and business management. Three key streams—Human capital, Employers' Job Offer, and Business Immigration—each of which is further subdivided into a number of streams—are covered by OINP. Ontario recently launched an expression of interest system (masters and PhD students) to manage five streams under the Employer Job Offers (three streams) and International Students categories. Only applications from Ontario programs with special status for entrepreneur streams will be accepted through the Expression of Interest system.

Alberta:

The top industries of Alberta PNP include forestry, agriculture, and energy. The province's energy industry, which contributes one-fourth of its GDP, includes coal, natural gas, and oil sands. In addition to being Canada's second-largest agricultural producer, forestry is Alberta's third-largest industry. Through the federal skilled worker program, Alberta wants to quickly fill skills gaps in the mechanical, plumbing, and metalworking industries.

Calgary, a major city in Alberta, is the third-largest urban area in Canada. It is the cleanest city in the world due to its illustrious cleanliness. In addition, Alberta has minimal levels of pollution, especially air pollution. Located at the centre of Canada's oil industry, Calgary has experienced rapid growth.

It is common for businesses to hire immigrants, including those in banking and finance, transportation and logistics, and technology. This province in Canada is well known for its allure, especially among entrepreneurs, mechanics, engineers, and other people with backgrounds in technological fields. Alberta has a low crime rate, and unemployment has decreased due to new immigrants relocating to the province.

Saskatchewan:

Candidates living in Saskatchewan PNP receive additional CRS points if they have relatives or cousins living there. Other provinces only do this in cases where there are blood connections. In addition to the Occupation in Demand program, Saskatchewan issues an invitation to applicants. Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand uses an Expression of Interest (EOI) process for applicants who do not qualify for express entry. A candidate's chances of being nominated through SINP are strong if they have more than 10 years of experience.

PNPs for International Skilled Workers are intended to attract high-demand employees to Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan's In-Demand Occupations List requires candidates to have one year of experience in one of these professions.

Nova Scotia:

Nova Scotia lies on the east coast of Canada, near the Atlantic Ocean. A province is an ideal place for newcomers because of its proximity to the sea, reasonable cost of living, and relaxed way of life.

Nova Scotia's Labour Market Priorities also select candidates from the Express Entry pool. Due to the fact that it frequently attracts profiles without a link to a particular province, this stream is considered one of the simpler PNPs for international candidates to obtain PR.

Despite extending invitations to candidates with no connection to the province, Nova Scotia PNP does not reveal its industry or selection criteria before admission rounds. The candidate must have an active Express Entry profile and indicate a desire to live in Nova Scotia.

Candidates that get an invitation from Nova Scotia may apply with the hope of receiving a provincial nomination. Because the stream also employs the Express Entry system, successful applicants receive an extra 600 points toward their CRS score. Receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a federal Express Entry draw is all but guaranteed with these additional points.
