Tech PNP BC

In cases when local skilled workers aren't accessible, BC PNP Tech gives B.C. tech firms the flexibility to continue hiring and retaining international talent in tech jobs. This program paves the route for Canada's permanent residence for high-demand international employees and students, enabling them to contribute to the expansion of our economy and the creation of wonderful lives in British Columbia.

Since its May 2017 inception, BC PNP Tech has helped more than 6,000 tech professionals get nominated for Canada permanent residence. In order to maintain and expand the province's technology industry, BC PNP Tech works to guarantee that the province can continue to draw in and keep the talent that it needs.

Benefits to applicants include:

  • A pathway to immigration that doesn't need a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA);
  • Work permits support letters for nominees so they can apply for a new work permit or renew their present work permit and keep working while pursuing Canada permanent residence; and.
