Australia Official Skill Invitation Round Results 11th April 2019

Australia conducted latest Expression of Interest SkillSelect invitation round results on 11th April 2019 for General Skilled Migration Programs- General Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489. In this current draw a total of 110 invitations were issued.
Out of 110 ITAs, 100 applicants received invitation to apply through Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 with 80 immigration points and other 10 applicants received invitations under Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489 with 80 immigration points.
A tie-break rule was applied in this draw where the applicants who submitted their profiles for Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 in the EOI pool before 15th March 2019, 09:40 AM were given ITAs. Additionally, Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489 break-even time and date was 12th October 2018 at 06:31 AM. This means profiles that were in the EOI pool before the said date and time were invited in this EOI Australia SkillSelect draw.

The 11th April 2019 invitation draw results saw that:
    • Only 49 ITAs were given under skilled independent visa subclass 189 and 6 ITAs were given under Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489 at 80 immigration points
    • 31 ITAs were given under skilled independent visa subclass 189 at 85 immigration points and less than 5 ITAs were given under Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489 at 85 immigration points
    • 16 ITAs were given under skilled independent visa subclass 189 at 90 immigration points
    • Less than 5 ITAs were given under skilled independent visa subclass 189 at 95 immigration points

Australia Skilled Invitation Round Results 10th March 2019


The Australia Skilled Invitation Round results were conducted on 10th March by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) for the General Skilled Visa Programs namely Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489. A total of 1500 ITAs were issued in this current draw. Out of 1500 ITAs, 1490 applicants received invitations under Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 with 75 immigration points whereas, 10 applicants received invitations under Australia Skilled Regional Visa Subclass 489 with 85 immigration points.

Thus, the recent invitation round results saw the issuing of ITAs falling down to 1500 and immigration cut-off increased to 75 and 85 points respectively.

Australia Skilled Invitation Round Results 10th March 2019

A break-even date and time was applied for 11th March invitation round results where for 189 visa, an applicant who has submitted profile before 8th March 2019 at 05:50 AM with 75 immigration points and more are invited to apply by the Australian government whereas, 9th March 2019 was the break-even date and 08:30 AM was the breakeven time for 489 visa. This means that applicants with the said date and time having 85 immigration points were given ITAs in this current draw. 
Up till now, a total of 22,620 ITAs have already been given under Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and 90 invitations have been given to the applicants under Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489.

Australia Skill Invitation Round results 11th January, 2019

The Department of Home Affairs has released the official Australian Invitation round results for the month of January, 2019. The immigration department this time has invited 2500 applicants under the General Skilled Migration Programs- Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489.
The January 11, 2019 invitation results were given under Australia 189 visa subclass with 2490 EOIs
Out of 2500 EOIs, the Australia Skilled Subclass 189 visas were given to 2490 applicants with immigration score of 70 points and other 10 EOIs were given under Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Subclass 489 to the applicants with 80 points.
The applicants with the highest ranking score are invited to apply for Australia Permanent Residency Visa.

The below mentioned occupations are subject to pro-rata arrangement because of high levels:
  • Accountants (2211) and Auditors, Company Secretaries and Corporate Treasures (2212) got ITA at 80 points each
  • Electronic Engineers (2334) at 75 points
  • Industrial, Mechanical and Production engineers (2335) at 70 points
  • Other professional engineers (2339) at 75 points each
  • ICT Business and System Analysts (2611) were invited at 75 points
  • Software and Applications Programmers (2613) were invited at 70 points
  • Computer Network Professionals (2631) were invited at 70 points

Invitation Round Results 11.Sep.2018 invited 2500 Skilled Applicants

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has finally released the new skill migration draw list inviting 2500 applicants to apply for Australian Permanent Residency. The ITAs has been constant for this draw as well. The scheduled draw date was 11thSeptember 2018. However, the result got delayed and published on 4th October, 2018.
The department invited 2490 candidates to apply for Australia PR through Independent Subclass 189 and 10 candidates were issued ITAs for Skilled Regional Provisional Visa 489.

What is the Eligibility to Apply for Skilled Visas? 

This year, it has been seen that more number of draws are given to candidates applying for skilled migration visa programs. We can also speculate that more number of ITAs is expected to be given with comparatively less immigration point score.

The department issues invitation through tie-break up rule, for subclass 189, the tie-break up date and time was 21st June 2018 and 5:55 pm. This means that candidates having 70 points applying before this date and time are given invitation in this current draw.
The Subclass 489 visa tie-break date and time was 10th July, 18 and 11:22 am. The applicants with 80 points that have applied before the stipulated date and time are invited to apply for Australia PR.

2500 Itas Issued By DIBP In Latest Invitation Round Results Dated 11.August. 2018!

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has increased number of invites for Australia PR from 1010 to 2500. This is surely good news for the candidates applying for Australia Skilled Migration Program. As opposed to 305 invitations in the previous year, 2500 invitations are given this year under Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and Australia State Sponsored Visa Subclass 489.
2490 candidates received ITAs for Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 and 10 candidates received ITAs for Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489.
Thus Australian government has increase its immigration intake in the current draw and chances are that more or same number of invites will be given in next invitation round as well.
834 skilled workers were invited with 70 points, 1094 workers with 75 points, 453 workers with 80 points, 107 workers with 85 points and 2 workers with 90 point were invited through Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189.
Whereas for Australia Skilled Regional Provisional visa Subclass 489, 9 invitations were given with 80 points and 2 invitations were given with 85 points.
The invitations were given according to the tie-break up rule for skilled migration visa programs. The tie-break up rule for subclass 189 visa was 30th May, 2018 at 06:16 AM. The applicants with 70 points and above who have submitted their profile on and before the above mentioned date and time were invited to apply for Australia PR.
For Subclass visa 489, tie-break up date and time was 24th June, 2018 at 10:10 AM. The applicants with 80 points and above who have applied for subclass visa 489 before the above mentioned date and time were invited to apply for Australia PR.
The pro-rata occupations invitations were given for the following categories:
Accountants are invited with 80 points whereas Auditors, Company Secretaries and Corporate Treasures got ITA at 80 points each. Electronic engineers and Industrial, Mechanical and Production engineers are invited with 70 points and other professional engineers are invited with 75 points.
Additionally, ICT business and system analysts are invited with 75 points. Meanwhile, Software and Applications Programmers and Computer Network Professionals are all invited to apply with 70 points.
The invitation points are comparatively less compared to previous invitation round results.
