Can my brother (Siblings) sponsor me to Australian PR - Aptech Visa

If your brother has an Australia PR, he may sponsor you. Applying for the 491 visa, also known as the skilled work regional (provisional) visa subclass 491, is what you can accomplish. You must have a nomination from an Australian state or sponsorship from an eligible family member who is a permanent resident or citizen of Australia in order to apply for a 491 visa.

Australia Skilled Regional Work Visa 491

To live and work in remote Australia, skilled individuals must be sponsored by an eligible relative or nominated by a state or territory government. For the duration of the visa's five-year validity, you are permitted to make as many trips to and from Australia as you like. After three years have passed after you received your 491 visas, you may submit an application for Australia PR (subclass 191 visa).

Australia 491 visa application process

Your first step in expressing interest in applying for this visa is to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through Skill Select. Kill Select does not charge fees to create or submit EOIs since they are not visa applications. The assertions in your EOI will be used by Skill Select to determine your point total. To be eligible to apply for a visa, you must receive at least 65 points.

If you have said that you are interested in being nominated, state and territory government organizations will be able to see your EOI. You'll receive a request to submit an application for this visa if they recommend you.

Once the EOI is finished, it is saved in Skill Select and is good for two years. At any time, you can update your information and see your EOI. To update your information if your circumstances change, access your EOI. Skill Select will send you an invitation if you are chosen to apply for a visa. You must submit the required documentation to prove your identification, skills assessment, level of English proficiency, relationship, partner, sponsor, and character claims made in your EOI and to demonstrate that you meet all visa requirements.

The invitation will thereafter be valid for 60 days after the date of the invitation, after which the invitation will expire.
