  1. Express Entry: Express Entry is Canada's primary method for processing skilled worker applications under the three major economic immigration programs. Candidates eligible for Express Entry can register on the federal government's website and upload their profiles. Candidates receive a CRS score depending on their age, education, language skills, and work experience.

a. Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW): The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program allows a skilled international worker to obtain Canada PR and benefits. Candidates must receive the required amount of Canada PR points to be considered for this program and meet the Canada Immigration eligibility.

b. Canadian Experience Class (CEC): Since 2008, the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) has provided a key route to permanent residence for individuals who have worked in Canada.

c.  The CEC is a popular choice among temporary foreign employees and international graduates who want to work and settle in Canada. CEC candidates selected through Express Entry usually receive their permanent residency status within six months.

d. Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP): The FSTP is one of three federal economic programs controlled through the Express Entry system of the Canadian government. Express Entry is the primary pathway for skilled workers to immigrate to Canada. With an average of 110,000 yearly immigration places given to Express Entry, Canada plans to welcome over 400,000 new immigrants per year under its Immigration Levels Plan.

2.  Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Various Canadian provinces encourage skilled immigrants to come to their territory, to live, work, and settle. After receiving the nomination, candidates directly acquire 600 points and capture a chance to live in a particular province as a permanent residence. A few provinces are quite simple to enter. These provinces provide good career opportunities for a variety of qualified foreigners. Except for Nunavut and Quebec, each province and territory has its PNP. Each province has its standards for determining who is qualified. PNPs use Expressions of Interest (EOI) procedures similar to Express Entry to invite the top scorers through regular draws.

3.  Pilot Program for Immigration in the Atlantic:

The four Atlantic provinces of Canada banded together to launch the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Scheme, a fast-track immigration program. Four Atlantic Provinces are as follows:

  • Nova Scotia
  • New Brunswick
  • Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Prince Edward Island

Employers in the above four provinces can use this initiative to hire talented immigrants and address job gaps in their region or community. It's an employer-driven initiative in which the employer gives competent people positions. Then you'll be provided with a settlement plan to help you, and your family settles in that town.

Your education and professional experience are valued in Canada, and it is taken into account in many of the country's immigration schemes. An advanced degree, such as a Master's or a Ph.D., may get you more points.

Depending on the program, there is also a different Canada Immigration process, so you have to check it individually.
