What is the minimum CRS Score for Ontario?
A minimum of 400 Comprehensive Ranking
System (CRS) is required in
IRCC's Express Entry system. You must also meet the criteria of
Ontario's Human Capital Priorities Stream.
• Education - Applicants must
possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree from Canada or have an
Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report indicating that their foreign
education meets these requirements
• Language Proficiency - All
candidates must have a language competency level of at least 7 on a
standardized language test recognized by the Government of Ontario, regardless
of whether the language is English or French.
• Work Experience - In the five
years prior to the date of the Ontario Notification of Interest, all candidates
must have worked full-time in a National Occupation Classification (NOC) level
0, A, or B occupation for at least 12 months. This criterion can be met with an
equal number of part-time paid job experiences (1560 hours). Instead of five
years, applicants must have at least 12 months of cumulative full-time
employment (or the equivalent number of hours of part-time experience) within
the last three years.
Express Entry score - All
applicants must have a score of 400 points or higher on the Canada Express Entry
Comprehensive Ranking System, and this score must be maintained throughout
provincial and federal processing.
• Intention to Live in Ontario - All Ontario immigration
applicants must plan to live in the province.
• Settlement Funds - All PNP Ontario candidates must have adequate
unencumbered funds to pay the costs of coming to the province and settling in.
Bank statements must be used to prove these funds.
These are the following steps:
Step 1: Research the various immigration programs' eligibility
requirements.
Step 2: Determine which immigration path is best for you.
Step 3: Fill out an EOI (Expression of Interest) form and send it
to the OINP (Or)
Step 4: You can apply to the program directly.
If you submit an EOI, you must:
Step 1: Your application is submitted to a pool of candidates.
Step 2: Your profile will be evaluated by the Ontario PNP.
Step 3: The ITA receives the highest-ranking scores via email.
Step 4: You have 90 days to submit the full online application.
Step 5: Submit the necessary paperwork.
Step 6: Candidates must meet with the OINP for an in-person interview.
Step 7: The immigrants must sign the Performance Agreement after
that.
Step 8: The Ontario government will then issue a Letter of
Confirmation.
Step 9: Once you've sent this letter to the IRCC, you'll be issued
a temporary work permit.
Step 10: If you meet all of the requirements, you can submit an
application for a provincial nomination.
