BC PNP’s Latest Draw Update: 225 Invites Issued

The province of British Columbia issue 225 total invites to candidates. The draw was conducted under British Columbia’s Nominee Program, Tech Pilot Stream which conducts weekly draws in order to meet the technology sector labour shortages in the province.

Tech pilot program has 32 key technology occupations listed.

Invitations are thus, issued to only those candidates who are having a valid Job offer letter from a British Columbian employer/ firm in one of these 32 listed occupations.

The draw took candidates under its skills immigration and Express Entry pathways which are the most popular means of inviting candidates under BC PNP.

Candidates who are selected under Skills Immigration Stream will be having their application processed outside Express Entry federal system.

However, those candidates who received invitations through Express Entry pathways (Express Entry BC: Skilled worker and Express Entry BC: International Graduate), will now be able to claim extra Comprehensive Ranking Score equivalent to 600 points.

These additional of 600 CRS will lead to selection of the candidate in the subsequent federal rounds of invitations. Source Link
