Coming March 2018, TSS Visas would take over 457 visa

The Prime Minster of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull announced on Facebook that the current 457 Visa will soon be abolished in March 2018, and replaced by a Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (TSS) which is a temporary work visa. Some changes related to 457 visa will be done in Occupations list, where 200 occupations can be removed and a shorter list for TSS Visa will apply.

Secondly, earlier no work experience was required to meet the requirement of 457 Visa but now with TSS Visa, a minimum of 2 years of work experience is mandatory. Thirdly, Labor Market Testing will be required for all the cases except when exempted by international Trade Agreements.
