What if I
don't want my parents to live with me after I immigrate to Canada?
In case you don’t wish to be with your parents after immigrating to Canada
then you should not show your family composition, thus ending the chance of
inviting them to Canada, but if you want them to join you in the distant future
then you must show your relationship and you can invite them on a visitor visa for
a duration of 6 to 8 months and if you invite them on a super visa then
they can live with you up to 5 years as per the new law.
It is advisable to show your relationship so as to minimize future visa application issues for your family members.
