Concerning the Express Entry category

Express Entry manages the pool of candidates for three of Canada's main economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Class, and the Canadian Experience Class.

Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, effectively moving them to the front of the line for a Government of Canada invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

Candidates who receive a provincial nomination in the Occupation In-Demand sub-category have their applications for Canadian permanent residence processed outside of the Express Entry system.

To be considered for either sub-category, candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the SINP's International Skilled Worker Category.

Eligible candidates are given a score out of 100 based on factors such as their education, skilled work experience, proficiency in English or French, and Saskatchewan connections.

The highest-scoring candidates in both subcategories are then drawn at random from the pool.
