· It is mandatory to have a total work experience
of 1,560 hours in the time span of 3 years before the submission of your
application. This work experience can be achieved the following way:
- Full-time: 30 hours per Week at
one or more occupations for a period of 12 months - Part-time for 24 months: 15
hours each Week
• None of the following apply to
your work experience: - work done as a self-employed person - work done as a
full-time student - co-op work terms - unpaid internships - community service
• Your work experience matches
the criteria for skill levels 0, A, or B as defined by the National
Occupational Classification (NOC) 2016.
• You performed at least 51% of
the primary duties stated in NOC 2016 for your job during your work experience.
• When you earned your job
experience, you were authorized to work in Canada. You had a work permit, for
example.
· Within the age range of 21 to 55, you're a young
adult.
• You have documentation of
graduation from a Canadian or international high school or post-secondary
institution.
• You have proof that you can
communicate in English or French according to our expectations.
• You intend to live in Nova Scotia and can
demonstrate that you and your family will be able to support them.
