The Government of Canada has recently declared its Latest Express Entry round of Invitations on April 15, 2020 wherein 118 invitations were issued for Canada permanent residence. Applicants applying from provincial nominee program were eligible to apply under this Express Entry draw.
Additionally, applicants with at least 808 CRS score or above are invited to apply in this invitation round. The tie-breaking rule is March 18, 2020 at 10:30:55 UTC which implies that candidates who have submitted their profile before this date and time with 808 CRS score or above received an ITA (Invitation to apply).
Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a tool which ranks profile according to human capital factors (including age, education, skilled work experience, language ability proficiency), skills transferability and additional factors. The highest scoring applicants are invited through frequent Express Entry draws.
Express Entry system manages in three federal economic immigration program and provincial nominee program is one of the streams under Canada Express Entry. The other two are federal skilled worker program and federal skilled trade program. This 15th April Express entry draw brings around 26,618 total number of ITA as of now.
