Can I immigrate to Canada at 40?


Yes, you may apply for Canada Permanent Resident Visa at the age of 40 years under Express Entry. However, after 39 years of age, the total point score starts decreasing. At the age of 40 years, you will be entitled to receive 7 points under FSWP. After that the age points will start decreasing and it will ultimately reach zero points at 47 years. However, immigration to Canada is very much possible till 46 years of age provided you are able to score high immigration score.
