Canada PR and Canada Citizenship are entirely different from each other. The Canada Permanent Resident Visa is valid for five years that allows an applicant to live and work anywhere in the country for an indefinite period of time whereas Canada Citizenship allows an applicant to become the citizen of Canada and live, work or study for an indefinite period of time.
