STEM Graduates refers to those members of the Australian population with a past secondary qualification at the level of certificate III or above in any of the following fields of education:

Also, out of 451 employers, 241 expected the need to increase STEM professionals in next five to ten years.

The top six industries where the STEM graduates go to work are:
  • 25 percent graduates are in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services
  • 10 percent graduates in Manufacturing
  • 10 percent graduates in Public Administration and Safety
  • 10 percent graduates in Education and Training
  • 6 percent graduates in Health Care and Social Assistance
  • 5 percent graduates in Financial and Insurance Services
