The IETS language score is an important requirement to
create an express entry profile. To become eligible, IRCC says the applicant
needs to obtain a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) requirement in the
language proficiency test. The IELTS is conducted all over India and it
comprises of four sections namely Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking
skills of the candidate. The minimum IELTS score requirement for Express Entry
is CLB 7 that is attained by getting IELTS 6 bands in each module of reading,
writing, listening and speaking. The IELTS scores are valid for up to two
years. So, if English is your first language then for applying for ExpressEntry at least IELTS 6 bands each are required. The knowledge of the English
language is not only for professional reasons but also for day to day
communication in Canada.
