The applicants having nominated occupation listed on Western Australia Skilled Migration Occupation List
(WASMOL) or Graduate Occupation List (GOL) is eligible to apply for
Western Australian State Nomination Program.
The candidates can apply through Australia State Nominated
Visa Subclass 190 or Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489
The WASMOL is available to applicants applying through the
General Stream whereas GOL is available to the applicants applying through
Graduate Stream.
The applicants applying for WA Skill Migration Program will
have to compete with all potential employees in the Western Australian labour
market to get a nomination from the WA government.
To apply for WA state nomination program it is essential
that you have at least 65 points out of 100 on Australia point assessment grid.
The points are calculated for age, educational qualification, work experience,
language ability and other factors.
The occupations mentioned on Western Australia Skilled Migration
Occupation List do not relate to any specific job vacancies, nor
represent job guarantee but rather lists the occupations that are required
currently in the labour market of Western Australia.
